Seniors, if the schools you are applying to require an official SAT score you must order it from the College Board. The report of your scores on your transcript probably would not be considered an official one.

  • The ACT (American College Testing) is a standardized test used in the college admissions process inthe United States, designed to assess a student’s general educational development and readiness for college-level work. It is a multiple-choice test covering four sections: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science, with an optional writing test.

  • The SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is a standardized test used by many U.S. colleges and universities to evaluate a student’s academic readiness for college. It is administgered by the College Board and is typically taken by high school juniors and seniors. While some colleges are test-optional, many still require or have reinstated it as part of the college application process.
