The College Board Opportunity Scholarships guide you through the college planning process and offer you a chance to earn money for college for each action you complete!!!  Complete each action for a chance to earn scholarships.
Check out www.thewashboard.org for tons of different scholarships.  Last year Washboard offered over $50 million in scholarships.  They also offer tips and have many great resources to help you through the FAFSA process.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial needs who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities.  The scholarship program application is available exclusively through the Common App and closes November 13th, 2019.

AWC Center for Quality Communities Scholarship Program - Deadline March 2nd  - applications in the PDF below and need to be mailed to Mayor Glenn Johnson, City of Pullman, 325 SE Paradise St., Pullman, WA 99163.  They must be received by March 2nd in order to be considered for the selection process.
Washington State School Retirees Association Scholarship-$Various- Deadline is March 1, 2020 - These scholarships are for students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and are given to students who plan on following a career in the "field of education".  These include areas of: teachers, counselor, speech therapist, occupational therapist, or psychologist.  Two of the scholarships are specifically for students who will major in Agricultural Education at WSU.
The Association of Computer Professionals in Education (ACPE) Scholarship - A completed online application must be submitted to ACPE no later than 5pm, February 28th, 2020. 

      In order to qualify, you must:

  • currently, be a senior at an Oregon or Washington K–12 public or private educational institution
  • have demonstrated high interest and innovative use of technology during your high school career
  • have demonstrated some community/school involvement, preferably with a technology focus
  • plan to pursue studies in a technology-related field to obtain the minimum of a two-year degree
  • provide a description, that includes a reflection of your learning form a technology project you have completed, and provide a link that documents and demonstrates your technology project.
  • have completed the online Scholarship Application

American Legion Boys State Application--JUNIORS ONLY

American Legion Legacy-Deadline is April 15 --The American Legion's Legacy Scholarship provides college scholarship money to children of post 9/11 veterans who died on active duty, or have a combined VA disability rating of 50 percent or greater.               

Varsity Tutors College Monthly Scholarship Due April 15th   -Grades 10-12th must write a 500 word essay

Ayn Rand "The Fountainhead Essay"-Up to $10,000 Deadline is Arpil 26th

Washington State Opportunity Scholarship - Career and Technical (CTS) Applicants - July 2020 - see website for more information.  This scholarship is for an approved program to receive an associate degree, certificate or apprenticeship program.  Scholars that intend to earn their bachelor's degree after the completion of their program are not eligible for CTE but would be encouraged to review the Baccalaureate Scholarship
