Pandemic EBT Benefits

Pandemic EBT (P-EBT)

Get money for meals missed by students at school this school year! There is no need to apply. Eligible families will get their benefits in the mail starting this March 2021.

What do I Need to Do?

It's easy-- just make sure your address is up-to-date with your student's school! Contact the office manager at your school if your address has changed.

Pandemic EBT: Who is Eligible?

  • Did your child go to a K-12 school this school year that closed or had reduced hours due to the COVID-19 pandemic?
  • Is your child eligible for free or reduced-price school meals?

If you answered yes to both of these questions, your student may be eligible for P-EBT this school year!

Where's my card?

There are over 500,000 Washington students so the process of getting cards out can take a while. The first round of cards are still being sent out. The final batch is scheduled to be mailed April 27, 2021.

The cards can take 7 to 10 business days to arrive.

DSHS sent Notice of Action to eligible families for the 2nd round of payments (covering February and March 2021).

MOVING?- Please update your address immediately with your student's

school office manager to ensure cards are sent to the correct address.
